I wander over to Blick, after dinner to browse art supplies. I go to the counter with three stretched canvases (18 x 36) to start a series of close ups of some collage portraits, with a wood panel to paint on since i just read that painting directly on panel is a wonderful experience of control of the paint and i must try that! I also buy another wood panel for my encaustic series (since Mari had to have one of mine). I find some liquin which I always need. it was a big sale, after all.
Ringing me up, the pink haired, tattooed, nose -ringed, pretty young woman says,”Wow. You have a alot of projects! That’s what i need, to start some projects.” Indeed, I have no end of projects and ideas. Now for enough time to actually get to them.
