Exploring Wines in Difficult Times

This collection began in March of 2020 when our wine connoisseur friend gave me a lovely Moleskin wine journal. He explained how to soak off the labels to add to my notes. After unsuccessful tries I gave up, deciding I would rather draw them. Soon I was painting the bottles and labels, which became my practice during theses trying months which turned into years.

 

Our friend David brings this to our patio dinner when all news is bad. “We need to drink this now”, he says
